My entry for 
's Coloring Book Page Contest. Anna from Frozen. I tried to go for a painterly effect using portrait paintings by Franz Xaver Winterhalter, especially his portrait of Empress Eugenie de Montijo, the wife of Napoleon III. As a background thought I also took inspiration from Vermeer, especially with the dark background.
I was pressed for time to meet the deadline. I originally was going to have a velvet curtain in the background and a white column on the right side, but took them out. I'm satisfied with it, but would've liked to have gone deeper in detail. But, hope everyone still enjoys it. The pattern on her skirt was a pain! but I really like the design.

Nice background and colouring!! This looks like a commissioned portrait that Anna had to pose for, but she is clearly thinking of doing something else. Great work!
